Falling For You

Does your home insurance policy cover you if a guest or
household employee falls and injures themselves on your property and sues you
for damages?

The answer is YES.

Your home insurance policy covers you for your”physical goods,” but the personal liability portion also protects
you at home (or anywhere in the world) for bodily injury you unintentionally
inflict on others or for accidental damage you cause to someone else’s
property.

If a guest or household employee (like a cleaning service)
were to be injured by slipping on an icy portion of your driveway, sued you for
damages, and you were judged to be legally responsible, you would be
covered.
