Being Non-Renewed
I received an email from one of our visitors who said, “There are a lot of people who don’t know how the insurance system works. It’s very scary to think they can control us so easily, and possible ruin someone’s ‘career’ if they depend on a car, and can’t afford the insurance.” She was being non-renewed by her company because of three minor speeding tickets. InsuranceHotline.com quoted her a great rate, but she really had to pursue the broker to take her, and eventually they did.

Shopping Tip

If you are shopping for a rate and calling around, ask the broker which insurance companies they represent. Ask them who they consider to be their best three markets and for them to quote you a rate from all three companies. InsuranceHotline.com.com represents all the insurance companies any one broker could quote you, so use InsuranceHotline.com.com to compare and make sure you are getting the best quote.

Tickets

Convictions stay on your driving record for three years. However, remember that there is a difference between the “incident” date, (the date you received the ticket) and the “conviction” date. Insurance companies need to know the actual conviction date, not the date you received the ticket.
