Did You Know? - April 2011

Did you know that if you have snow tires on your vehicle, you should be changing them back to summer tires once the spring weather has arrived?

Snow tires are made from softer compounds which mean they will wear out faster, especially in warm weather. If they're worn the thread will not grip the snow and ice well the following winter season, which can lead to a higher risk of having an accident. Summer tires will not only give you a quieter and smoother ride in the warmer weather but will also give you better traction in the rain during April showers.
