Q) Does my car insurance company check my driving record on every renewal date?A) After your initial policy has been set up and a motor vehicle report or driving record has been reviewed, most insurance companies will generally not check these reports every renewal date. They will typically check your driving record approximately every 3 or 4 years. Some instances where they may check your driving record more often include if you have recently been involved in an accident or if there is a history of convictions.
