Q) I'm moving to a different area, will my insurance rates increase?
A) This depends on the area you are moving to. Rates can vary from one area to another and from one insurance company to another as well. Some areas have higher claims statistics than others and therefore are considered higher risk. These high risk areas will have higher insurance rates.
However not all insurance companies covering that area will charge the same rates. This is the reason it pays to do some research before committing. You might be paying a higher rate now but it could be a lot more if you don't shop around.
