When you request an insurance quote or other service: We collect personal contact information (for example, name, address, email address and telephone numbers) as well as all information that is relevant to assess risk and provide you a quote. We also keep notes and special instructions on file for insurance brokers and agents to help us fulfill your request and provide customer service.
When you sign up for a newsletter or other email services: We collect your email address to provide you those services.
When you click the submit button on our website forms: The personal information collected when you submit a website form is limited to the information stated on the form, for you to provide.
When you enter a contest or other promotion: We collect your personal contact information to administer the contest or promotion including contacting, announcing and promoting prize winners.
When you agree to receive advertising tailored to your interests: We collect demographic information, as well as quote request history and a list of promotions offered to you (“history”), in order to gain a better understanding of your interests so that we may develop better products and services, and to determine eligibility for our products and services. In addition, we may use this information to send you offers or information from us, our affiliates and from selected sponsors or advertisers (“Marketing Offers”).
When you call us: With your consent, we may tape or monitor your telephone calls with our customer service representatives for quality assurance purposes.
We generally use your personal information for the purposes of: managing, administering, collecting or otherwise enforcing accounts; maintaining business records for reasonable periods of time and generally managing and administering our business; and meeting regulatory, legal, insurance, audit, security and processing requirements. Occasionally, we ask our customers to complete market research surveys. To whom do we disclose personal information, and why?
InsuranceHotline.com is not an insurance company or an insurance broker/agent. We work with insurance companies and insurance brokers/agents on this website to provide you an insurance quote. Consequently, we will be disclosing your personal information to them as well as to obtain the quote. This will be clearly indicated, and it is part of the quoting process.
We may also disclose your personal information in order to provide you with Marketing Offers you have opted into. In that case, we may disclose your personal contact information to affiliates and selected sponsors and advertisers. You may opt-out of Marketing Offers at anytime by clicking on the opt-out button that will be provided in the Offer.
Who do we share your personal information with
We share your personal information with companies who act as our service providers to provide you, our services. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us, pursuant to written instructions. In such cases, these companies must abide by our data privacy and security requirements, and are not allowed to use personal information they receive from us for any other purpose.
We may also disclose your personal information to our affiliates for internal audit, management, billing, administrative, marketing, promotion, or other business purposes.

Where do we store your personal information
Consent and opt-out policy
Personal information collected by InsuranceHotline.com is used to provide an insurance quote or other service. Any information requested by the presentation of any form on our website will be clearly marked and no collection will take place unless you, not only fill in the form, but also actively consent and successfully submit that form’s content to us.
You always have the right to withdraw consent. If you consented to receiving Marketing Offers, you may opt-out at any time by clicking on the “opt-out” button at the bottom of any email Marketing Offer you receive.
Please allow a reasonable time (approximately 10 days) for processing of your request.
How long do we keep your personal information
We will only retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes you have provided it for, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. At the end of the retention period, your information is deleted.
Safeguards: We maintain personal information in a combination of paper and electronic files. We take technical, contractual, administrative and physical security measures to protect your personal information. For example, when you provide personal information to us, we work to help protect the security of your information by using industry standard secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption technology.
How to access, or have your personal information corrected or deleted

We will respond to your request within 30 days. If we need an extension, we will provide justification. If we cannot grant you access, correction or deletion, we will provide reasons.
